Privacy information

Updated October 21, 2026. This policy covers Clear Three and its sharing, country-badge and regional leaderboard services.

Saved progress

The game stores progress, power-up use, revive use, pending completed runs and earned badges on this browser or device. Clearing local data removes these records.

Country badges

When the reward service is available, a completed run sends its identifier, layout and moves for validation. The service uses network location to determine country and, for US completions, state; the game does not request precise location or contacts.

The service stores an anonymous player identifier, run identifier, country, US state when available, proof digest and completion time to validate rewards and prevent duplicates. Public country and US-state leaderboards show aggregated counts of anonymous players who completed all three levels, not individual player identifiers or precise locations. Each anonymous player is counted once per region. Clearing data or reinstalling may create a new anonymous identity. State reporting starts with this update; older records without state information are not assigned to a state. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule. Clearing local data does not delete records already submitted to the service. The anonymous browser cookie can remain for one year.

Invitations

In the iOS app version 1.1.1, completing the system share sheet grants the first optional power-up use. Cancelled sharing does not grant a reward. Delivery to a recipient is not verified. Legacy web invitation links connect an anonymous inviter and participant. A first-time visitor must accept the invitation and complete a server-issued Level 1 challenge. The service validates the moves before the inviter can claim a reward. First-time status is based on anonymous browser or app identity; it is not verified personal identity. You choose where and with whom to share; the game does not send messages automatically.

Advertising

Version 1.1.1 introduces optional rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Version 1.1.0 does not serve ads. Completing an available advertisement can unlock an in-game reward; no purchase is required.

Google's advertising SDK may process IP address and approximate location, app or device identifiers, advertising interactions, product interactions, crash logs and performance data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation. The app asks for Apple's tracking permission before eligible advertising requests. If you allow it, Google may use the advertising identifier for personalized ads and ad measurement across apps and websites. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not provided and you can continue playing. You can change this choice in iOS Settings.

Where required, a consent form appears before eligible ad requests. You can revisit available consent choices through the app's advertising privacy settings. If consent or an advertisement is unavailable, an ad reward is not consumed. Read Google's privacy policy for its data practices.

Hosting and sharing services process information under their own privacy policies. Your chosen sharing app receives only the invitation content you choose to share.

Audience

Clear Three is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.
